Anvilogic Description:

What Is Anvilogic?

Anvilogic is an agentic security operations platform designed to automate repetitive work performed by security operations centers. The platform connects security data, detection engineering, alert triage, investigation, and response into a unified workflow.

Anvilogic was founded in 2019 by cybersecurity practitioners and data scientists. Its platform originally focused on detection engineering and has expanded into an agentic SecOps system that can operate across existing SIEMs, data lakes, and cloud storage without requiring organizations to replace their underlying infrastructure.

Agentic SecOps Platform

Anvilogic’s current platform is organized around four major SOC workflows: onboarding, search, detection, and investigation. AI agents perform tasks within each workflow while approval controls allow security teams to retain human oversight where required.

The platform can run on top of existing SIEM infrastructure, data lakes, or cloud storage. Organizations can therefore use Anvilogic alongside their existing security stack rather than undertaking a complete infrastructure migration.

Data Onboarding

Anvilogic’s data onboarding capabilities are designed to make new security data usable for detection and investigation without requiring a separate data engineering project for every feed.

Onboarding agents can profile incoming data, propose parsers and schema mappings, and enrich information with threat intelligence, identity, and asset context. Human review can be incorporated before a new data source becomes operational.

Federated Security Search

The Search capability provides a unified interface for querying security information across multiple underlying data platforms. Analysts can search information stored in SIEMs, data lakes, and cloud storage without moving all of the underlying data into a single repository.

Anvilogic supports both natural-language and structured search, while Anvilogic Compute can make storage-based security data available for active search and security operations.

:contentReference[oaicite:6]{index=6}

Detection Engineering

Anvilogic provides AI-assisted detection engineering for creating, validating, deploying, and maintaining security detections. Detection agents can use threat intelligence and existing security context to help transform information about threats into detection logic.

The platform supports Detection-as-Code practices, including version control, testing, change tracking, diffs, rollback, and deployment across multiple security platforms.

:contentReference[oaicite:7]{index=7}

Detection Library

Anvilogic Armory provides a curated detection library containing more than 3,500 detections. The detections are mapped to MITRE ATT&CK techniques and are designed to be deployed across supported SIEM and data-lake environments.

The library is also updated with new detection content based on emerging threat intelligence and tracked security topics.

:contentReference[oaicite:8]{index=8}

MITRE ATT&CK Coverage

The platform connects detection engineering with MITRE ATT&CK tactics and techniques. Security teams can use this information to understand existing detection coverage and identify areas where additional detections may be needed.

Anvilogic’s current detection engineering platform states that its library covers more than 200 MITRE ATT&CK techniques.

Alert Triage

Anvilogic’s Triage Agent evaluates incoming alerts and assigns verdicts such as malicious, suspicious, or benign. It can also escalate higher-confidence threats for investigation and provide tuning recommendations for recurring false positives.

The system is designed to assemble relevant context before an analyst reviews the alert, reducing the amount of manual information gathering required during initial triage.

:contentReference[oaicite:10]{index=10}

AI Investigations

Investigation agents execute repeatable investigation workflows based on security team runbooks. Anvilogic Blueprints can define the sequence of investigative actions, including gathering context, checking related activity, examining exposure, and compiling findings.

Human approval checkpoints can be included when an investigation reaches a decision that requires analyst review.

:contentReference[oaicite:11]{index=11}

Case Management

Anvilogic provides case management capabilities that connect alerts with investigation and documentation. Cases can contain evidence, timelines, summaries, investigation results, and records of analyst and AI actions.

The platform’s current case management workflow is designed to carry an alert through investigation and toward a documented resolution without requiring analysts to manually assemble information from multiple consoles.

:contentReference[oaicite:12]{index=12}

Response Automation

When an investigation identifies a confirmed threat, Anvilogic can trigger response actions through connected security tools. Examples include isolating a host, disabling an account, terminating a process, or handing the action to an existing security workflow.

These response capabilities are designed to work with the security infrastructure organizations already operate rather than requiring a complete replacement of existing response systems.

:contentReference[oaicite:13]{index=13}

Blueprints

Blueprints allow security teams to create repeatable workflows that combine multiple AI agents and tools. Teams can define how work should be performed while allowing agents to execute the individual steps.

Blueprints can be used across data onboarding, detection engineering, investigation, threat hunting, and other SOC workflows. Access controls and human approval points can be incorporated into these workflows.

:contentReference[oaicite:14]{index=14}

AI and MCP Integrations

Anvilogic supports connections with external AI systems through its Model Context Protocol capabilities. Organizations can connect supported AI platforms and third-party tools to Anvilogic while controlling which tools and capabilities agents can access.

The platform can also connect external tools through MCP and incorporate them into Blueprint workflows.

:contentReference[oaicite:15]{index=15}

SIEM and Data Lake Flexibility

Anvilogic is designed to work across different security data architectures. Supported environments include SIEM platforms, data lakes, and cloud object storage.

The current platform lists integrations with environments such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike NG-SIEM, Elastic, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Explorer, Microsoft Fabric, Amazon Security Lake, Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Google Cloud Storage.

:contentReference[oaicite:16]{index=16}

Anvilogic Compute

Anvilogic Compute allows security teams to use data stored outside traditional SIEM environments for search, detection, and investigation. Data can remain in cloud storage while Anvilogic indexes it in place for security operations.

This architecture is intended for organizations that retain large amounts of security telemetry in lower-cost storage but still need to search and analyze that information during security operations.

:contentReference[oaicite:17]{index=17}

Usage-Based Pricing

Anvilogic uses a usage-based pricing model that focuses on compute and AI work rather than simply charging according to the volume of data ingested.

The pricing structure includes a platform fee, AI credits for agents and Blueprints, and compute credits based on the processing required to index relevant data. Exact pricing depends on the customer’s environment and usage requirements.

:contentReference[oaicite:18]{index=18}

Reach for Broader Security Workflows

September 30, 2026

I’d normally consider point security tools, but Anvilogic fits when I need federated search and detection engineering across existing platforms. I still prefer specialized tools for narrower tasks.
