fylm.ai Description:

fylm.ai is a modern, AI-powered, cloud-first colour grading and LUT editing tool designed to streamline the creative workflow for filmmakers, DITs, colourists, and photographers. Rather than installing heavy desktop software, users access fylm.ai via a browser to create, manage, and export look files, while collaborating privately across teams and locations.

One of the core innovations is NeuralToneAI, which can generate a starting look (show LUT) from image analysis and allow flexible adjustments to exposure, contrast, white balance, tint, and opacity within that generated grade. The system also supports NeuralFilmAI, an AI-driven film emulation engine that imparts filmic aesthetic qualities to digital captures, using neural networks trained on cinematic data sets.

For matching and consistency, fylm.ai offers colour matching tools capable of aligning different camera types, shots, or reference images, simplifying cross-camera workflows. Users can also extract colour styles from external reference images to guide grading, making it easier to replicate looks. Underneath, fylm.ai uses ACES colour management by default (specifically ACEScct) to maintain consistency between input and display devices, and offers correct IDT/ODT transforms so grades behave predictably across software like DaVinci Resolve or Premiere.

The tool supports gradients, curves, secondaries, log primaries, and other professional controls, all GPU-accelerated and responsive enough for real-time previews in a browser. Users can upload stills or video files to see how looks translate over motion.  Collaboration features include commenting, review states, version tracking, and shared project asset management.  The export options are flexible: LUTs (.cube), XMP profiles for Adobe apps, ICC / Capture One style profiles, or simply high-resolution graded images.

Because fylm.ai works in the browser, it is accessible from any device with Internet, no installation needed. Remote teams can approve looks in real time, and creatives with minimal grading experience can rely partially on AI + Magic Mode workflows while still retaining full manual control when desired.

While fylm.ai does not seek to replace full photo editors (for cropping, masking, retouching), it fills a specialised niche: fast, intelligent, high-quality look creation and consistent cross-device LUT export functionality, combined with modern collaboration and cloud infrastructure.
