With Pega GenAI, a user can request “create an application for processing loan requests,” and the system will propose stages, workflows, UI elements, and sample data—saving development effort and speeding time to market. The Connect Generative AI layer lets organizations swap AI models (OpenAI, Azure, private LLMs) without rewriting workflow logic. The generative AI boosters extend standard Pega functionality—such as auto‑reply generation, meeting summaries, test data creation, and content generation—accelerating many repetitive tasks.

Pega also delivers conversational agents: GenAI powers chat, voice, and email summarization agents that tie into enterprise knowledge bases. The agents can answer queries, summarize transcripts, and craft personalized messages, while remaining subject to business logic and oversight.
